The Town of Abington sometime in FY 15 (July 1, 2014 thru June 30, 2015) will commence landfill closure of the Groveland Street site. Town has hired Klinefelder formerly known as SEA Associates to provide expert closure services to properly close and cap the old municipal landfill on Groveland Street. The infromation provided in this section of the website is designed to provide our residents with the most upto date information on options and closure costs.
