Employee & Retiree Health Care Changes 		 
Sharps Program for Abington Residents

We are starting a Sharps Program at the Health Department for Abington Residents only. Residents will be able to purchase 5 quart sharps containers from the Health Department for $12.00. Once the sharp container is full they can bring it to the Health Department and place the container into a medical waste box. We will not accept any medical waste that is not in a Sharps Container; however, residents are not obligated to purchase the sharps containers from the Health Department exclusively.
