On November 12th, at the Abington Council on Aging, the Town of Abington is hosting its annual Abington Veterans' Celebration! Abington Veterans of all ages are encouraged to attend! Veterans must be a resident, or affiliated with Abington through an organization, committee, our incredible COA, your hometown, etc. This jam-packed event includes a scrumptious coffee hour, welcoming ceremony, 45-table resource fair, student readings, free prizes, music, plated lunch, desserts, entertainment, and so much more! This is an event you don't want to miss!

Due to the growing size of our Veterans Day celebration, we kindly ask that a spouse only attend if Veteran needs assistance to participate, please.

On Monday, November 9, 2025, Whitman, Abington, Hanson and Rockland are coming together for a Quad-Town Veterans Day Celebration from 12 - 3PM at the Whitman VFW located at 95 Essex Street.

The family-friendly event will include activities lunch for veterans and their families, Veterans Agents from each town to answer benefit questions and more!
