Signups are open for garden plots in Abington at Green Street Park and 100 Lincoln Boulevard!
The Town of Abington is using funding from the Massachusetts Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program to establish new community gardens for growing fresh food and empowering neighbors with gardening education.
This project, Growing Greener: Expanding Community Garden Access & Garden Education, was designed based on community input.
Gardeners will receive access to a garden bed and can kick off planting in late spring. Residents who are experienced gardeners at Griffin’s Dairy and from the community will be helping throughout the growing season.
Because we have limited space, we ask that you fill out a brief application at https://tinyurl.com/AbinGarden. Gardens will be assigned on a first come first serve basis and notified by email. There will be a quick orientation for selected gardeners where you will be notified of your garden placement. Applications close April 10, 2026. Please spread the word, and apply today!
