EMERGENCY WATER CONSERVATION NOTICE

Residents of Abington & Rockland:

The Abington & Rockland Joint Water Works (ARJWW) Board of Water Commissioners asks all residents and businesses to immediately stop all outside water use (non-essential water use).

This is a Step 4 Water Use Restriction. Abington & Rockland (and surrounding areas) are experiencing drought conditions, and ARJWW is having an extremely difficult time keeping up with the current water demand.

If any residents notice puddles on the street (absent of prior precipitation), water running on the street, or unusually high stream flows to please call the Water Department office immediately so we can investigate.

ARJWW crews are diligently working to identify possible distribution system leaks to improve our water levels.
