The Abington Police Department is reminding residents that the annual Winter Parking Ban is now in effect from November 15, 2025 through April 15, 2026.
In accordance with town regulations, on-street parking is prohibited between the hours of 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM throughout the duration of the ban. This policy remains in effect regardless of weather conditions and is intended to ensure that roadways remain accessible for public safety operations, emergency vehicles, and winter maintenance.
Vehicles found parked on the roadway during restricted hours may be ticketed, towed, or both.
The Department also encourages residents to report violations responsibly. While concerns may be directed to the non-emergency line, the Department asks that reports be made in good faith and not used to escalate neighborhood disputes.
