The holiday tradition is back! Abington Police and Fire are once again escorting Santa through town, waving to families, and spreading serious holiday cheer.
And this year… we’re turning up the magic!
🚁🍬 HELICOPTER CANDY DROP at Arnold Park! 🍬🚁
Thanks to our friends at Boston Executive FBO, Santa’s stop at Arnold Park is set to be the most festive pit stop in Abington!

🕣 Ride Begins: 8:15 AM at Beaverbrook Elementary School
🎅 Santa Stops at Arnold Park: ~9:00 AM
🍬 Helicopter Candy Drop: ~9:15 AM
During Santa’s 30-minute stop at Arnold Park, enjoy:

🦌 Quick Reindeer Games hosted by Abington Parks & Recreation
🎅💚 Up-close interactions with Santa, the Grinch, and other festive characters!
🛑 Safety First:
Candy drop is weather-dependent
A safety perimeter will be maintained — please follow instructions from public safety personnel
🎄 Route & Safety Reminders:
Santa & Sirens will continue through town after Arnold Park
The ride ends at Wal-Mart Abington for our Second Fill-The-Cruiser Toy Drive — bring a new, unwrapped toy to support local families
Stay on sidewalks or a safe distance from the roadway
Do not approach Santa’s vehicle while it’s moving
Listen for sirens and music — that’s your cue Santa is near!
