DEA Drug Take Back Day – This Saturday!
The Abington Police Department, in collaboration with Abington COPES, will be hosting a DEA Drug Take Back event this Saturday, April 22nd from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Abington Police Department. This is a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired medications.
Important Update:
Due to the Annual Town Little League Parade stepping off from the Abington Police Department at 10:00 AM, medication collection will begin at 10:30 AM.
Reminder: A medication collection bin is also located in the lobby of the Abington Police Department and is accessible at all times for your convenience.
We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to stop by after the parade to safely dispose of any unwanted medications.
What You Can Bring
Residents are encouraged to bring:
Unused or expired prescription medications
Over-the-counter medications
Pills, capsules, tablets, and patches
Please note: Needles, sharps, liquids, thermometers, or inhalers will NOT be accepted.
