Pursuant to Section 7-11 of the Abington Charter, the Abington Select Board calls the attention of all residents to the fact the following vacancy exists. 

Position: 1 position on the Abington Board of Health, Term: approximately for 7 months until the 2026 annual Town Election 

The Abington Health Department's mission is to protect, preserve and promote the health and well-being of all Abington residents. 

This mission is met through the monitoring, regulating, educating and enforcement of health codes and regulations while promoting a healthy community. 

Any person who desires to be considered for appointment to the position may, within ten days following the date the notice is posted, file with the Select Board a statement which sets forth in clear and specific terms the qualifications which he/she holds for the position.
