Today, the Town of Abington pauses in remembrance of the brave men and women of the United States military who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. May we never forget their sacrifice.
In efforts to remember those Abington residents Killed in Action, the Town recently published a new memorial webpage. For over a decade, Rev. Dr. Kristy Coburn, pastor of the United Church of Christ in Abington and Abington American Legion Chaplain, researched each Abington serviceman who was killed in action. With the help of volunteers, this new webpage ensures each name is remembered, each story told, and each life honored. Learn more at http://www.abingtonma.gov/o/toa/page/veteranskia
